Comment: anyone browsing my site will realize I am fully invested in the Turkowiak line of guitars. The reason is simple: the family of Rafal, his two sons, and daughter in law are building consistently exceptional guitars at a reasonable price. These are concert level guitars that I would choose even if they topped $10k. The voice is warm, even, clear. As an intermediate player, I find notes played above the 7th fret are easier to execute and they are precise in intonation, which is one big way concert guitars top lesser instruments. This applies to both the center sound hole and offset model, such as this one. What the offset produces is a significant boost in power with a stunning bass response that is so far in the cellar that no guitar I know of can match it.
The oil finish glistens while it eliminates the chance of moisture whorls, the bain of guitarists who may perspire in the heat of just on stage.
Note that this is one of three offset sound hole guitars available; the other two are cedar tops.
