2024 Heinzelmann Santos rosewood and cedar lattice
Woods: Santos Rosewood and cedar lattice. Spanish cedar neck. Nitro lacquer finish back and sides; French polish shellac top. The nitro is a good idea, as anyone playing a French polished guitar in the summer knows, moisture kills a fine finish; nitro is virtually waterproof.
Specs: 650mm scale, 52mm nut, 43mm string sacing at nut, 57 mm at saddle. Perona tuners. Choice of Hiscox or metro case Labella 2001 bass strings, Knoblach QZ nylon medium high tension trebles. Tight lattice pattern with bridged joints rather than glued, which minimizes the stiffening of the top.
Condition: new
Comment: Adrian’s guitars are now valued with top European luthiers and he has a well deserved six year waiting list. I will be as old as Joe Biden by the time I’ll see my next one, or you, should you wish to order one to be built. Or….you can look at this beautiful, powerful guitar, which is available now. His smaller plantilla profile is notably comfortable for the player, while at the same time the guitar possesses great power. If you didn’t know the bracing was lattice you might suggest a double top design–after all, Heinzelmann is a German luthier.
