Comment: Never has a lattice braced guitar sound less like a typical lattice instrument. By this I mean the creamy warmth of Adrian’s design leans more towards a double top. Both have the enhanced energy and sustain of a modern design but this one avoids the comparatively shrill trebles and thin mid range of a lattice. This sits nicely in the comfortable middle region and a pleasure to play. Colors abound in this happy guitar.
Adrian’s reputation as an upcoming builder has steadily advanced. His new builds are over 11,000 euro and a five year wait list. To have a new Heinzelmann at this price is a good deal.
