Comment: Slavko is a young east European builder whose exposure to concert players is growing. I am delighted to have this gem of a guitar on my site. This is his lattice model and has a predictable level of sustain and volume. The trebles seem particularly bright and prominent, with a rounded intonation that some might call “wet” or “bell like.” Simply tuning the guitar up to standard tension after receiving it, I knew it had a voice and a presence that makes lattice instruments so tempting. That something extra, or unexpected, combines with what I feel is a sophisticated reserve. Not boomy or showy, this is an all around instrument with very quick response, a sound port cover to give the player a choice about the sound environment. Please listen to the second video to hear it played by its former owner.
